There was no winner of the Cairde Seamróga Ros Liath lotto jackpot on Sunday night. The numbers drawn were 7, 12, 13 and 27. Niall Cassidy won the seller’s prize and the five lucky dip winners were Martina McElvaney, Rathowen, Lisnaskea, Niall Flynn, Scotstown, Rosaleen Flanagan, Eshakeerin, Roslea, Jimmy & Angela Cosgrove, Corrinshigo, Roslea and Katie Marie Beggan, Derryneece, Roslea. Club membership for 2017 is now due and can be paid to registrar Danny Mohan or any committee member. Players of all ages must be registered before participating in training or games.
St. Gerard’s minors get their league campaign underway with an away game against Ederney on Sunday 19th February at 12noon while Roslea U14s have a bye in the first round and have a home fixture against Belnaleck on Saturday 25th February.
Mass for Deceased Members
The annual Mass for deceased club members is scheduled for Saturday 4th March at 6.30pm and will be immediately followed by refreshments and a table quiz in the Complex.
Irish Language Classes
A ten week phase of Irish Language classes has started in the Complex on Saturday mornings at 10am. Ciaran Maguire is the tutor and there was a great spread of ages at the first class. An open invitation is extended to all interested in learning or updating their knowledge of our native language.
Anyone thinking of attending summer courses in the Gaeltacht who is interested in obtaining a scholarship from Fermanagh and Omagh District Council should apply on the Council website by Wednesday 8th February.
Jiving classes continue in the Complex on Tuesday nights and Slimming World classes continue in the Complex every Thursday evening at 5.30pm and 7.30pm.
The Complex also hosts the monthly Old Time Dance this Friday 10th February.
