We look forward to seeing all the lads out with the U11.5 and U15 teams in the coming weeks. Thanks to all the parents who brought their children to the Sunday Fundamentals Session on our new training field at Shamrock Park, particular thanks also to Dom Reilly for setting up the various stations and overseeing the session. We had 47 children in attendance. The club will be sending a notice out this week to all parents/guardians via the primary school messaging systems with regards to how we intend to organise and run all future sessions and what procedures parents have to follow before they arrive with their children. Next session is on Sunday at 10:30 am back on the new training field in Shamrock Park. Thank you to our club members and stewards who made themselves available to help on Sunday as Shamrock Park hosted the Derrylin V Newtownbutler match. All players and backroom teams are requested to reconfirm their health questionnaire on the GAA Return To Play website before each training session or game. This is vitally important and is not alone a pre-condition of taking part in an organised training session or game it will also assist the club, the wider community and the authorities with tracking and tracing in the unfortunate event of an outbreak of the virus within our club or community. Any queries in relation to these protocols please discuss with your teams COVID Supervisor.
There is a dedicated hand sanitising point just inside the entry to Shamrock Park and all players management teams and supporters and requested to sanitise their hands on entry to and exit from our grounds. On match days we will also have volunteers present just inside the entrance gates with additional hand sanitising dispensers and we would ask all players, management teams and supporters to co-operate with our COVID stewards at all times. Supporters are also requested to maintain adequate social distance from others whilst inside the grounds viewing our games.
